ROUTE TO SAFETY – A full in-depth report is provided with an audit of each item of machinery detailing required actions, menu of work, and costs for each machine, including noise assessment, electrical wiring and workshop hazards. All relevant legislations are listed. From our costed report we can undertake the PUWER compliance work, which will include retrofitting of braking systems, renewal or provision of guarding, BS stop controls, tamperproof switches, health and safety marking labels and machine outlets for dust extraction. All machines made compliant will receive the Fenay Certificate of Compliance guarantee.
Under COSHH, all workshops using woodworking machinery require Dust Extraction. Dust extraction systems require maintaining and inspecting. HSE will expect to see written evidence that this has been carried out. Fenay can provide this service, plus upgrades on existing systems as well as new complete installation. GUARANTEED COMPLIANCE Fenay Machine Safety issues written guarantees of compliance on all the services we cover. In all these areas, HSE will require to see certification.
