– The Company

With a reputation for quality and professionalism, built on services relating to the woodworking and engineering industry, Huddersfield based Fenay Machine Safety Ltd. is now widely recognised as the leading authority in PUWER’98 compliance. 

Responding to customer demand, the company has become a ‘one-stop-shop’ for all aspects of machinery safety and employee training issues, with consultants and engineers qualified and experienced in a wide range of industries.  We have built up a reputation in all the subjects mentioned among Local Government, Prisons, Health Authorities, Educations Establishments and Private companies.

Fenay was founded in March 1998 by Mr Richard Wrigley and Mr Garry Burns, who both have an extensive background in the woodworking industry, with an in-depth knowledge of machinery and the consequences of incorrect use / bad practices and the need to protect people from the effects of these.  Both founders have enthusiasm and are committed to retaining ‘Classical Machines’ in service and to make sure that with the correct modifications, they will continue to provide good service for companies long into the future.
